Meadows Place Police Department and Local Businesses Sponser the "Safe Place" Program

Safe Place is the first step to help for any youth in crisis or at risk.  This community collaboration program, operated by youth shelters or youth serving agencies make it possible for any youth to access help at locations including fast food restaurants, convenience stores, fire stations, libraries and city buses which display the Safe Place sign.  Youth can easily find help at Safe Place sites in their own neighborhood whenever they need it.  Safe Place connects youth to immediate help and safety and offers supportive services to both youth and their families.

Meadows Place Police Are Taser Equipped

You may have noticed what appears to be a bright yellow toy gun that each of the Meadows Place Police Officers are carrying. The Meadows Place Police Department, in its commitment to insure the safety of its community, citizens and officers alike, has issued all officers Taser Model X26. The Department is committed to providing its officers with the tools, technology and training to meet the challenges of Law Enforcement. Full Story

 


 

Meadows Place Police Initiate BAC-UPS Program

The Meadows Place Police Department has initiated a program it refers to as BAC-UPS. The idea is to increase the contact between the Police Department and businesses and to develop a community oriented relationship with the businesses. The Police Department wants to establish relationships with it businesses in the same manner as it does with its citizens and provide the same quality of service to them as well. Full Story
